Prunus Elly - Cherry Laurel [120-140cm]

Prunus laurocerasus 'Elly' – Cherry Laurel | 120-140cm | Root Balled

Create an instant, private screen with these 120-140cm 'Elly' laurels. 'Elly' is a modern cherry laurel selection with a naturally upright, compact habit, so it gives you height and density without the wide spread of common laurel. That makes it ideal where space is tight: along boundaries, driveways and patios.

Each plant has multiple stems and is well furnished from the pot to the tip. The dark, glossy evergreen leaves give year-round screening and a clean, smart finish. In spring, upright spikes of creamy-white flowers add interest.

Why choose 'Elly'?

• Instant height of 120-140cm, giving you a hedge from day one
• Narrow, upright growth that needs less trimming to keep tidy
• Dense, bushy plants that are full to the base
• Fully hardy and well suited to Irish conditions
• Tolerates sun or shade, most soils and coastal or urban sites
• Evergreen for year-round privacy and noise reduction

Planting: Allow around 2 plants per metre for a dense, finished hedge, or 1.5 per metre for a more economical screen. Water well through the first growing season. Autumn is the ideal time to plant.
