Prunus lusitanica 'Angustifolia' – Portuguese Laurel | 175–200cm | Extra Quality
Premium, instant hedging with a refined, formal look. Portuguese laurel 'Angustifolia' has smaller, narrower leaves than cherry laurel. They are deep glossy green and set off by striking red stems, which gives a finer texture and a more elegant finish.
These extra-quality plants are grown and regularly clipped into dense, uniform columns, 175–200cm tall and 45–50cm wide. They are fully furnished from base to tip, so you get a smart, structured hedge from the day you plant.

Planting guide
Plant rootballed hedging between October and March. Leave the hessian in place, loosen it around the top of the rootball, and plant at the same depth. For a dense, instant hedge, plant around 2 per metre. Allow 1.5 per metre for a more economical screen that will knit together over time. Water well after planting and through the first growing season. Trim once a year, in late summer, to keep a crisp shape.
