Our specifically selected bird-friendly premium mix is chosen to provide a vital food source to attract birds to your garden whilst providing a dense habitat, offering a safe sanctuary, ideal for nesting.
As well as attracting birds our selected mix will look visually attractive, with flowers, catkins, nuts, berries and autumn colour. We recommend you trim your bird-friendly mix once a year from august onwards, ideally in winter, taking care to leave some winter food. We sell our bird-friendly mix per metre for ease of ordering. Each metre of hedging will include 5 plants.
Our mix is formulated as follows:
- 20% Hawthorn
- 20% Blackthorn
- 20% Hazel
- 20% Field Maple
- 10% Spindle
- 10% Crab Apple
