In the winter, this shrub has clusters of scented yellow flowers hanging from bare branches. In autumn, the bright green leaves turn splendid shades of yellow, orange and red. It is a lovely specimen plant for a sunny winter border where its fragrance can be enjoyed. The flowering branches can be cut to display in winter.
