Apple Mint (Mentha suaveolens) is a perennial herb with a spreading habit and apple scented leaves. Light lilac flowers are produced in summer. One of the most popular culinary herbs. The leaves can be used to make the perfect mint jellies and sauces, as well as adding a delicious flavour to salads or freshly boiled new potatoes. All Mints are ideal for tubs or pots, or in places where people will brush against the foliage to emanate the strong fragrance. Really easy to grow.
