Osmanthus Goshiki is a handsome, low-maintenance, evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green, holly-shaped leaves that are spectacularly edged with bold, irregular, creamy-yellow splashes. It produces small, delicate, pink-tinged white flowers which look similar to jasmine blooms and provide a powerful, sweet apricot scent to the garden.
The flowers are followed by oval, berry-like, blue-black fruit which help to add colour and interest to the garden into the autumn. Its great for adding a splash of colour to dark corners of the garden or using as an impenetrable, flowering informal hedge. Set off against a background of dark evergreens for best results.
