Rising Star a relative new comer to the plant scene. The difference with Rising Star and other commercially grown varieties is that its a Gardeners best friend with its neat, dense uniform growth, reaching an ultimate height of 2 metres x 0.5 metre width. Taxus Rising Star doesn't produce poisonous berries like some other varieties.  Its a very hardy, drought resistant variety that'll withstand all sorts of weather conditions. Yew Rising Star is  a great choice for low maintenance hedges, privacy screens, and green garden dividers. It’s also slow-growing enough to replace boxwood as a low growing hedge  You can use it in your front garden as it will tolerate pollution, drought and exposed situations.
